Portchester Castle. Jan 17

Where I spent my youth, having been born a couple of hundred yards from the castle walls. The stretch of water leads out through Portsmouth harbour and I sailed and raced on it from when I was about 14. Sailed to the Isle of Wight with Mavis in a small dinghy called a Portchester Duck. We did’nt wear life jackets in those days!
